Europe has not been friendly toward Israel or Jews in the modern era.
““Jews are an elite people. Sure of itself and domineering.”
Is the above quotation from Nazi Germany’s Adolf Hitler, a notorious anti-Semite? No, it’s a comment from Charles De Gaulle, president of France in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
De Gaulle made his comments shortly after Israel, in 1967, won a six-day war against attacking Arab nations.”
France, England and Germany have been overrun by Hamas supporters in the last twenty years, like the U.S. has been invaded by illegal aliens. There are “no go zones” in London and parts of England—controlled by terrorists and the British government allows them (we have no go zones in Michigan and Minnesota)—and it looks like college campuses. Be aware as the war in the Middle East continues, to see if Europe will give support to Israel or stand on the sidelines—like they did till Hitler torn it apart.
EUROPE HATES JEWS

“Jews are an elite people. Sure of itself and domineering.”
Is the above quotation from Nazi Germany’s Adolf Hitler, a notorious anti-Semite? No, it’s a comment from Charles De Gaulle, president of France in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
De Gaulle made his comments shortly after Israel, in 1967, won a six-day war against attacking Arab nations.
in June 1967, Israel demolished Arab forces in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. De Gaulle’s comments came shortly after the six-day war ended.
One would think that De Gaulle, who lead France’s opposition to Nazi Germany’s occupation of his country in the 1940’s, would have had a more sympathetic attitude toward modern Israel, a Jewish nation established in May 1948.
Modern Israel came into being in the wake of Nazi genocide in which six million European Jews were murdered.
France and Europe’s Jews had a common enemy: the Nazis. The emergence of a Jewish state must not be questioned.
What De Gaulle said is consistent with 2000 years of European history in which Jews in Europe were terrorized, beaten, and killed.
Nations like Russia, Poland, Germany, and France have a history of making life miserable for Jewish residents. To escape persecution, many European Jews immigrated to the United States and Canada. In 1290, King Edward I of England, expelled the Jews in his country.
On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas, an Arab terrorist organization based in the Gaza Strip (near Southern Israel), invaded Israel by land, sea, and air. About 1,400 Jews inside Israel were killed. Hamas took Israelis and people from other nations hostage.
Anti-Semitism in Europe is nothing new. This phenomenon of European Jew-hatred has gone on for centuries.
Two thousand years ago, the Jews lived in Ancient Israel (or Biblical Israel). Modern Israel occupies land in an near where Ancient Israel existed. In 70, A.D. (C.E.) the Romans conquered Ancient Israel, driving many Jews into North Africa, Europe, and Asia Minor.
However, after World War II, with the destruction of Nazi Germany, presumably a new acceptance of Jews in Europe had arrived.
De Gaulle’s criticism of Israel’s 1967 victory over Arab opponents, revealed the French president’s underlying anti-Semitism. De Gaulle should have welcomed Israel’s victory. Instead, he criticized the Jewish state for winning a tremendous military victory.
European anti-Semitism is ingrown.
Why are so many European residents now protesting Israel’s actions in the current Gaza War?
The leaders of Germany, France, and Great Britain have been largely silent over the Hamas attack. Do these leaders support Hamas and, by extension, also harbor a hatred of Israel (and Jews in general)?
Israel is a legitimate state. Modern Israel took over worthless land in the Middle East and created a prosperous nation. Near Tel Aviv, Israel, there is an Israeli version of a high-technology Silicon Valley.
Hamas made a huge error in thinking that an attack on Israelis would go unanswered.
If the Israeli Defense Forces defeat Hamas, the blame for Hamas’ defeat belongs rests solely with Hamas itself.
