Valladares:  Sacramento—NOT Your City—Should Control Housing

Suzette Valladares, who voted to oppose parents knowing if a teacher had changed the gender of their child, is not a supporter of individual rights.  Radical State Senator Scott Weiner had a bill, SB 9 that takes the ability of a city council to issue zoning rules, permits and control the quality of life in a community, and give it to a faceless bureaucrat in Sacramento.

Looks like Suzette Valladares has no confidence in or respect for the local voters and the city councils’ in her District.

Do the city council member in Santa Clarita and the other cities in the District know Valladares does not want them to set housing policy?  Do they know she wants Sacramento to tell them what to do?  Is Valladares representing her District or the Sacramento special interest?

For example, what a person believes about local government control can shape whether they believe a decision regarding housing should be made at the local level or by Sacramento politicians who don’t have to live in the communities affected by their decisions. This would be seen in the case of SB 9, which was authored by two of the most extreme Democrats in the Legislature, Toni Atkins and Scott Weiner.

SB 9 was identified by
Livable California as one of the 7 bad bills of 2021 and Sacramento politician Suzette Valladares during her one and only term in the State Assembly (AD 38) voted to disregard the decision making of those impacted locally.”

Republicans support parental rights and local control.   What do these votes make Valladares?  If the LAGOP and the CRP endorse her, it will go a long way toward the goal of making the GOP a Party begging for support, not a Party showing it has values and principles.  This also puts into question any endorsement by these organizations—if they endorse candidates that act like Democrats, what criteria are they using?

CONGRESSIONAL VOTES IMPORTANT TO FREEDOM

A few years ago Congress passed a law that by 2026, car manufactured MUST have a kill switch.  That means government, if they do not want you to attend a rally or a government hearing can stop your car.  Or, a hacker, could, for the fun of it, stop your car on the freeway.  Or, if someone does not want you to testify, that can hire a hacker to stop your car.

Sadly, the GOP had a bill, in part which would have repealed that provision.  Yet 22 GOP’ers vote to have government control your car (because you might be driving drunk, but how would they know that?).  Of that three GOP’ers were from California.

Mike Garcia, Kevin Kiley and Young Kim

Then you had 70 GOP’ers vote to give the FBI, used to silence citizens, threaten citizens and abuse our freedom of speech, an extra $300 million to build a new building, without ending its weaponization of the justice system.

Several California members of Congress voted to support the FBI—at a time we are adding over one trillion a year to the deficit.

70 Republicans Reward Weaponized FBI with $300M Gift

The Western Journal, https://www.westernjournal.com › 70-republicans-rew…

As the FBI continues its assault on American freedom, 70 Republicans – for reasons we can guess – voted to reward the Bureau.

Here are the California GOP’ers who voted for more money for the FBI, without ANY reforms and firings:
