CORRECTION:  Valadares a HALEY Delegate, Not a Trump delegate

Yesterday I mistakenly reported that the pro-choice, anti-parent Suzette Valadares, running for the State Senate, was a Trump delegate.  Instead, she is a delegate, on the Halley slate.  I had been give the list of dleegates and did not note the correct candidate delegation.  I am sorry to think Valadares would, for political purposes change her presidential support.  She is clearly staying on the anti-Trump side.

This is what Suzette Valadares said in September of 2022 to Fox40 :

Assemblymember Suzette Valladares

“I’ve seen this show before and it’s a NO from me. The ugliness and toxicity must end. On all sides. We need a Great Unifier. Someone young. Someone with empathy. Someone new.”

  1. The Steve Hilton for Governor campaign has begun hiring staff and consultants.  The same people running the Garvey for Senate effort—the candidate that refuses to explain forged signatures on checks, refuses to meet his children or grandchildren and won’t answer questions in open forums, got out of the Army after being sent to Ft. Jackson on “medical issues” that he found AFTER joining the Army, are running the Hilton for Governor effort.

Former State Senator Tony Strickland and current Huntington Beach City Councilmember, has been taking Hilton around Southern California—in an effort to create fund raising events.

  •  Once again the L.A. Times show its opposition to Democracy and the Constitution.  Since it looks like Trump is gaining a strong lead over the demented Biden—a Special Proscecutor admitted that Biden is so confused he can not remember when he was Vice President or when his son died—they now are leading the Fascist parade claiming he should not be allowed to run.

Abcarian: In a righteous world, Trump couldn’t run. Does the Supreme Court live in that world? — On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments in a Colorado case about whether former President Trump’s deep involvement in the deadly events of Jan. 6, 2021, should disqualify him from running again. Robin Abcarian in the Los Angeles Times$ — 2/8/24

  •  This is not a joke.  In San Fran it costs $1 million to build a single “affordable housing unit.  In most parts of the nation you could build 3-4 unites for a SF price of one.

At a cost of nearly $1 million a unit, stalled S.F. affordable housing project set to start again — A low-income development at 78 Haight St. in San Francisco is seeking $10.5 million in additional funding in order to get the project back on track. J.K. Dineen in the San Francisco Chronicle$ — 2/8/24
