Election Integrity Does NOT Exist Without HONEST Voting Roles

The Republican National Committee has 46 lawsuits, in 23 States demanding honest elections.  Sadly, California is not one of them.  A few years ago, Chair Patterson created an Election Integrity Committee, with some good people on the committee.  A couple of days ago the committee chair, Randy Berholtz sent an email giving us the history of the committee and how important it was.  He gave us the GOALS of the Committee:

“The CRP Election Integrity Committee has two main goals: (1) to recognize the pivotal role of voter confidence in ensuring the health of our Republic, and (2) to ensure that Republicans have equal access to the electoral system in our State, enabling them to observe, participate in, vote, run for office, and select candidates that represent our shared values.

CRP’s election integrity program is run by Krista Pittman, our Deputy Executive Director and Political Director and is supervised by the CRP’s General Counsel, Ashlee Titus.  The program focuses on six main areas:  (1) recruiting and training poll observers, (2) recruiting poll workers, (3) ensuring proper access at county registrars’ offices for Republicans, (4) ensuring that trained Republican lawyers support the efforts of our poll observers, candidates and campaigns, (5) ballot harvesting and (6) ballot curing.”

Notice what is missing—HONEST voting rolls.  No suggestion of getting the dead off the voting rolls.  No suggestions of auditing the voting rolls to get illegal aliens off the voting rolls.  No mention of a single lawsuit to get honest voting rolls, stop the abuse of ballot harvesting.

Yes, we need the right to run for office.  But, what good is that right if the system is corrupt?

Maybe this Committee needs to look at the foundation of honest elections:  HONEST VOTING ROLLS?

The four main areas “we look at” have little to do with honest voting.  It is AFTER the fact, when the corruption is already done.  Poll watchers are looking at the ballots of dead people and those who have moved at of State—but how do they know which are honest votes or corrupt votes?

At the convention ask why we tolerate the dead and those who moved, to vote.  Ending that should be the primary goal of an Election Integrity Committee.

  1. This is a great example of the California GOP and another one of their unnecessary programs. When it was introduced a few years ago, there was already an excellent, workable program operating not only in California, but nationwide called the Election Integrity Project@ California (eip-ca.com) founded by Linda Paine and Ruth Weiss. They have standing in an ongoing 9th Circuit Court case which they filed in California several years ago and have been very successful in this area. It’s still unclear to me and to others who were on various Central Committees at the time, why the CAGop wanted to get involved in this area. The consensus seemed to be it was jusr another reason to try and profit from an enterprise that was already working, i.e., if it’s working why fix it? EIPCa is a nonpartisan group of U. S. Citizen volunteers and neither they, Linda Paine nor Ruth Weiss receive any pay in their dedicated mission. It would be interesting to see how much the CaGop has spent on the program these past few years and what if anything it’s actually.accomplished.

  2. You are so correct Steve! Where our election fraud can very easily take place is when voting ballots are mailed out to every registered voter on the rolls, whether dead or alive, whether they live or not where the ballot was mailed, whether they are citizens or not. We are never going to have fair and honest elections in CA until the voter rolls are cleaned up. Since our CAGOP Election Integretity Committee does not even have that as a goal to accomplish, it will take a lawsuit to “Make our voter rolls cleaned up.”

  3. Well, CA certainly removed my husband’s name pronto! Died 9/25/2023.
Had he been registered Democrat rather than Republican, certain a ballot would have arrived at the house!
