Colman: JUDEN RAUS (JEWS OUT)

Demands at the UC Santa Cruz include eliminating Jewish groups being allowed on campus.  At UCLA Hamas/Nazi’s are stopping students entering buildings, asking their name, look at a list and if the person is Jewish told they are not allowed in the building.  At some school, like USC, the Jewish students held separate graduation ceremonies, for security reasons.

In a Facebook posting my good friend Jon Fleischman noted that four Jewish friends, among the people he would least expect, are buying guns and getting firearm training.

These are dangerous times for Jews in America.  This anti-Semitism has been going for years on our campuses and in the community.  AOC and her Squad have been denouncing Israel and Jews fo years—yet the media has been silent—and Biden. Newsom and the Democrats have refused to oppose the anti-Semitism.  For instance, Newsom has refused to fire professors who have called for the killing of Jews and ending the State of Israel.

JUDEN RAUS (JEWS OUT)

By Dr. Richard Colman, Exclusive to the California Political News and Views,  5/13/24    www.capoliticalnewsandviews.com

The United States is showing hostility to its Jewish citizens and residents.

“Juden raus” (meaning “Jews out”) is a German term calling for the expulsion and death of Jews.  The term was used widely by the Nazis during the years (1933–1945) when Adolf Hitler was chancellor of Germany.

On American university campuses and elsewhere, Jews are being maimed, persecuted, and criticized in the wake of the October 7, 2023, attack by Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist group based in the Gaza Strip, an area near southern Israel.

During the October attack, Hamas members killed, raped, tortured, and maimed Jews –- both Israeli and American.  Between 1200 and 1400 Jews were killed and an unknown number was taken hostage.

The Biden administration in America has recently been of no help to Israel.  The administration has embargoed the shipment of certain military aid to Israel.

The embargo calls into question the alliance between Israel and the United States.

As of May 8, 2024, the putative Republican candidate for president in 2024, has not commented on Biden’s embargo.

For the last 100 years, Jews, in American presidential elections, have given majorities to the Democratic candidate.  With Biden’s new embargo, American Jews might, in 2024, just refrain from voting for president or vote for the Republican candidate for president.

According to the internet site Wikipedia, as of 2023, the Jewish population of Israel is 7.2 million.  In the United States, the Jewish population is 6.3 million.  Israel has the world’s largest Jewish population.  The U.S. is in second place.

Jews in America have to ask themselves if the time has come to leave the United States.

Originally, the Jews had a homeland in Biblical Israel, which is in or near modern Israel.  In 70 AD (CE), the Romans conquered Biblical Israel, forcing most Jews into exile.  The exodus was called the Diaspora.

For 2000 years, Jews re-located to Europe, North Africa, and Asia Minor.  In such nations as Russia, Germany, France, Poland, and England, Jews were persecuted and killed.

With the emergence of the United States, Jews had an opportunity to live in a land of religious liberty.

In 1790, George Washington, as America’s first president, wrote, “May the Children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants; while everyone shall sit in safety under his own vine and figtree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.”  The president made his written comments in a letter to the congregants of the Tauro Synagogue, which Mr. Washington visited in August 1790.  The Tauro synagogue is in Newport, Rhode Island.

After the Diaspora, Jews, until May 14, 1948, did not have a homeland.  On that May date, modern Israel became an independent and democratic nation.  The borders of modern Israel are in or near the borders of Biblical Israel.

Many, perhaps most, Jews living in America have never believed that they might have to leave the United States, a nation which offers all of its citizens religious liberty.

But President Biden’s arms embargo, announced on May 8, 2024, must make Jews believe that they are not safe living in America.  Thus, American Jews must have a strong interest in the existence of a Jewish homeland in modern Israel.  There is no guarantee that America might not turn into some sort of replica of Nazi Germany, which, in the 1930’s and 1940’s, was responsible for a deaths of six million European Jews.

English-speaking countries, in general, do not have a history of genocide against Jews.  However, in 1290, King Edward I of England, expelled the Jews living in that island nation.

America, while seemingly safe for Jews, has experienced virulent anti-Semitism.  In recent years, Jews were attacked in synagogues in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Poway, California.

Since October 7, 2023, there have been violent actions against Jews, especially on the campuses of American universities.  No one knows if these anti-Semitic actions will spread or just disappear.

Whatever happens, the comforting words -– toward American Jews — of George Washington, may be in serious jeopardy.

  1. We are told by politicians that the protesters are against Israel not Jews in general but by their actions they are. We are told the protesters are not anti American but by their action they are. Remember history and realize that now it is first the Jews, then the Christians, then all non Islamic believers , then the Destruction of Big Satan America and then YOU. Wake up America. They are coming!
