NOT THE WAY TO BRING PEOPLE INTO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
At a recent Kern County Republican Central Committee meeting, the Chair would not allow Republicans from Kern County to attend. Even people who were elected to serve on the Committee starting in December were not allowed to attend a regularly scheduled meeting. During the meeting a member of the Committee, Lynn Wyman, was threatened with being thrown out. Her crime? She wanted a paper copy of the Treasurers report. Even members are not allowed to see the report. Guess they have to go to the FPPC web site to see the report—months later.

“A member of the Kern County Republican Central Committee said she was angrily threatened with expulsion from a meeting Monday because she insisted on receiving a copy of a financial report and then called for allowing local party members to attend the gatherings.
The committee’s vice chairman countered that the outspoken member, Lynn Wyman, was making what he deemed unreasonable requests on behalf of party members whose disruptive behavior at previous meetings led the group to turn them away.”
This is the same Committee that had almost $300,00 embezzled—and refused to file criminal complaints about the theft. Even with a professional Treasurer, they had a massive embezzlement. So, you understand why members want to see a real, paper copy of the financial report—not just a few comments by the elected treasurer.
This is a shocker—tax dollars going to secretly promote Bakersfield College by giving money to a radio talk show host. BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE IS PAYING RALPH BAILEY (KERN Radio host) $1800 per month personally to “pump up” BC on his program.
This is taxpayer money going personally to Bailey for his on-going Pay to Play scheme for all things political. Began in 2023 as BC was purging conservative professors.

– BC is trying to buy their own FM radio station
– promote “…Kay Meek and Romeo Agbalog (KCCD Trustees) live…” “..Nan Gomez-Hertzberg (KCCD Trustee) …” “…..BC Dean Dadabohoy….” “…Latina panel and women’s history month…”….etc.
– “….continues to ban my BC-wide emails thinking I am trying to promote my show…”
– “…unable to share two interviews with Romeo Agbalog (KCCD Trustee)…..”
BC is wasting taxpayer money on self-promotion to shield itself from righteous criticism. This “contract” is up for renewal this week.
