Millions of PG&E customers to receive credit next month

PG&E has been raising its rates for several years.  This year alone, it has gone up by almost 20%.  So, no they will return about $200—a spit in the bucket.

“The twice-a-year credit, PG&E said, was first delivered in April along with an annual natural gas credit of $85.46 for residential customers with a natural gas account. The combined-use credit for residential customers for 2024 will be $195.80 total.

Eligible small business customers will also receive the electric credit in October, bringing their total credit for 2024 to $110.34.

“The credit is a ‘win-win’ for our customers,” said PG&E Senior Vice President Vincent Davis. “The California Climate Credit helps reduce customers’ energy bills and our state’s greenhouse gas emissions.”

The high rates are BECAUSE of the green agenda—it fixes nothing, but makes us poorer.  Want a real credit?  End the ban on coal, allow more drilling and add refineries—that will bring the cost of energy down.

(KRON) — Millions of residential and eligible small business customers will get a credit on their electric bill next month, Pacific Gas and Electric Company announced on Thursday. Residential households with an active electric account will get an electric credit of $55.17, which is the same amount they received in spring, the utility said.

The twice-a-year credit, PG&E said, was first delivered in April along with an annual natural gas credit of $85.46 for residential customers with a natural gas account.

The credit is distributed to PG&E customers as directed by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). No action is required by customers in order to receive the credit.
