Colman: A KAMALA HARRIS SONGFEST

Kamala Harris, with her cackling, laughing, smirks and arrogant facial expressions always had people wondering what was she on.  A few days ago she did a video that when seen, most thought she was drunk.  It was bizarre.  When Fox showed her giving a speech that put bongos in the noise background to make it palatable.

)   Then there is the song sung by James Darren:  “Good-Bye Cruel World.”  Some lyrics:

    “Well, the joke’s on me

I’m off to join the circus

Oh, Mister Barnum, save a place for me

Shoot me out of a cannon, I don’t care

Let the people point at me and stare

I’ll tell the world that woman

    Wherever she may be

That mean, fickle woman made a cryin’ clown out of me.”

That song shows what she did to the Democrat Party—she made a clown out of them.  But Biden be giving his son a pardon, one upped her.  Now lets see what she can do not to one up Biden.

To cheer up -– or drown in sorrow –- the supporters of Kamala Harris need a songfest -– a Kamala Songfest.

Let’s start with two classic songs sung by the Rolling Stones.

(1)   “I Used to Love Her, But It’s All Over Now.”  Some lyrics:

“Well, baby used to stay out all night long

She made me cry, she done me wrong

She hurt my eyes open, that’s no lie

Tables turn and now it’s now her turn to cry”

(2)    “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction.”  Some lyrics:

“When I’m ridin’ round the world

And I’m doin’ this and I’m singing that

And I’m tryin’ to make some girl

Who tells me baby better come back, maybe next week

‘Cause you see I’m on a losing streak”

(3)   Then there is the song sung by James Darren:  “Good-Bye Cruel World.”  Some lyrics:

    “Well, the joke’s on me

I’m off to join the circus

Oh, Mister Barnum, save a place for me

Shoot me out of a cannon, I don’t care

Let the people point at me and stare

I’ll tell the world that woman

    Wherever she may be

That mean, fickle woman made a cryin’ clown out of me.”

(4)   And let’s not forget Patsy Kline’s “Crazy.”  Some lyrics:

    “Crazy

I’m crazy for feeling so lonely

I’m crazy for feeling so blue”

(5)   No Kamala songfest would be complete without something from the Beach Boys.  Some lyrics:

“I’ve been all around this great big world
And I’ve seen all kind of girls
Yeah, but I couldn’t wait to get back in the states
Back to the cutest girls in the world”

There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of songs for a Kamala Songfest.

But the above songs should make for a good beginning.

And don’t forget:  As Kamala said many times:  “It’s time to turn the page.”
