Cal State faculty members vote to authorize strike

This could be good news.  If the State College system goes on strike, that means NO racist anti-Jewish riots on campus.

“According to the California Faculty Association, the union representing faculty across Cal State’s 23 campuses, 95% of voting members voted to authorize a strike. The union’s demands include pay raises to keep up with inflation, expanded parental leave and more counselors to help students with their mental health needs.

“Our aspirational contract demands insist that our students deserve better, that our faculty deserve better,” Vang Vang. the union’s treasurer and a librarian at Fresno State, said in a statement.

The unions must think we are stupid.  This is not about the students—it is about money and control of the colleges.  Seriously, anyone hear of a real union strike to help the students—all are about money—not a single strike has been ended based on better quality education—all end when the Trustees give up and bankrupt the system.

California State University faculty members voted Monday to authorize a strike if it’s necessary to secure a new contract.

According to the California Faculty Association, the union representing faculty across Cal State’s 23 campuses, 95% of voting members voted to authorize a strike.

The union and its members next plan to bring their demands to Cal State trustees and new Chancellor Mildred García at the system’s board of trustees meeting next week.
