Car thefts increased 300% in these LA neighborhoods

If you want a new car and your spouse says no, there is an answer.  Drive it into Los Angeles so it can be stolen.  Then you will be forced to buy a new car.

According to an analysis by the Los Angeles Times, South Los Angeles is the most dangerous place to park. The neighborhood has recorded more than 16,000 car thefts in the past ten years. It’s followed closely by the Central-Alameda neighborhood. 

However, areas like downtown Los AngelesChinatown, and Little Tokyo have seen a 300% spike in thefts since 2013.” 

But be careful, this area also has lots of robberies and assaults.  Why is L.A. collapsing?  Crime.

Data showed the most dangerous place to park your car is South LA.

LOS ANGELES – While data shows violent crime is falling across Los Angelescar thefts are on the rise.

In fact, it’s actually quadrupled in some areas over the past ten years. 

According to an analysis by the Los Angeles Times, South Los Angeles is the most dangerous place to park. The neighborhood has recorded more than 16,000 car thefts in the past ten years. It’s followed closely by the Central-Alameda neighborhood. 

However, areas like downtown Los AngelesChinatown, and Little Tokyo have seen a 300% spike in thefts since 2013. 

Data also shows that Kia and Hyundai cars are the most stolen.

  1. The people who live in South Los Angeles, Downtown Los Angeles, China Town and Little Toyko too need autos to get around but can’t afford one. And the Government just won’t give them one to use at their discretion. Blame Sacramento and Washington. Not the people who steal because of need! Merry Christmas!
