I am not sure that folks like Al Gore, Greta Thunberg, Gavin Newsom are part of a cult or belong to a religion.
Rational thought is not part of their thinking. They have come to the conclusion that society is killing the Earth—so they make up data, misuse data and openly lie about facts. Then they use government power to destroy jobs, families and the economy.
“They insist sales of gasoline powered vehicles be curtailed in the Golden State by 2035. Electric cars are expected to provide a substitute means of transport. Finding enough effective chargers provided by the government is of great concern.
It should also be noted Mega Polluter China is responsible for 66% of battery production worldwide. Because of this, great uncertainty exists on the final results for California’s Green New Deal on an international level.
What we refer to as “tree huggers” insist gas powered water heaters, stoves, and laundry apparatus be forbidden. Might we expect a revival of clothes lines and horse drawn carriages to be in vogue once again?”
How do we handle these melted down former humans. Today they are merely shadows of humans—mouthing slogans and hate. Time to ignore them.
Climate change as a religion by Richard Eber

We live in an age when the practice of religion has often been subject of ridicule from Progressive Democrats. As Socialists they believe the fate of mankind should be determined by the edicts of Big Government.
Under this model, God takes second fiddle to the powers that be in Sacramento and Washington D.C. It is no coincidence attendance at formal places of worship has fallen in recent years.
An exception to the rule is the cult of climate change. It has become a substitute form of religion for the Left.
Much like cults and radical Islamic faiths, intolerance to other points of view is a hallmark to those engaging in climate change worship.
Such dedication reminds one of Henny Penny predicting the sky is falling. Those who disagree with this assessment are considered to be “Climate Change Deniers”. This designation invalidates opinions or any contrary scientific data conflicting with the Global Warming crowd.

It is their plan to mandate meat substitutes to replace consumption of beef in our diet. Radical environmentalists allege cows dispense large volumes of CO2 gases contributing to Global Warming. If these folks have their way, eating a cheeseburger might be one step removed from being a serious hate crime.
The Green New Deal espoused by so called experts demands the next generation of Americans lower their standard of living in the name of moderating climate change.
Families are expected to trade in traditional single-family homes to habitat multi-unit sardine like structures in Government built housing projects. Those who reside in suburbia are supposed to adapt a lifestyle similar to those who live in big cities.
Instead of the family car, the next generation is expected to depend on mass transit and bicycles to get around town. Such logistics allow for small families and Big Government to dictate mobility.
This Dystopian vision sure does not sound very “progressive”. In reality it more resembles what the Britannica Dictionary calls FASCISM. Their definition is “A way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government.”
Such a rigid approach by ultra-liberal Democrats is being used to bludgeon Republicans who dare hold a different perspective of Climate Change. There is no gray area for deniers to have their voices heard in a meaningful way.
Demonization of conservatives in educational curriculum, most of the news media, and assorted social web sites, has not completely muzzled critics. It might be a surprise; conservatives also care about the environment. They hope the next generation will inherit a less polluted world.
As such they believe for the present:
· Processing crude oil in Houston produces far less pollution than the same product being converted for similar uses in China and the Third World
· The Excel Pipeline torpedoed by Joe Biden shortly after taking office is much safer than transporting oil by railroad conveyance. Just ask those living in Palestine, Ohio.
· It makes much more sense for the USA to be energy independent rather than purchasing oil from the likes of Venezuela, Iran, and other Middle Eastern Countries.
· Should the United States be able to export adequate natural gas supplies to Europe, it would assist our NATO allies to be less dependent on Russia for their energy needs.
· If the United States once again is totally energy independent, this would stabilize the price of oil worldwide reducing political tensions.
· Rather than mandating only electric vehicles be manufactured by 2035, why not include Hybrid powered cars with constantly improving gas milage be included with this group.
· Replace the ineffective Paris Climate Change Accords with practical and doable agendas working for all counties including the United States.
In determining climate change policy in the future, it would be a great idea to follow Rodney King’s sage advice “Why can’t we all get along”.
This wish is falling to deaf ears in American politics today. Progressive Democrats depict conservatives and all supporters of Donald Trump to be worse than Darth Vader on a bad hair day.
Those who demean Republican political thought consider them to be heathens, heretic’s, non-believers, and ignorant of what is transpiring in the world around them. This sure sounds like the doctrine of Climate Change advocates and religious fanatics.
Returning to the days of Al Gore and his interpretation of Global Warming, it appears the United States is moving backwards, following the most extreme Climate Change ideology. After living over three years under Joe Biden’s leadership, the fruits of this philosophy are most evident.
Inflation, rising energy costs, massive budget deficits, and the reduction of net income, are the result of misguided energy policy. Most adversely affected are poor and middle class families.
Government agencies from Sacramento to Washington D.C., are making important lifestyle decisions. The prerogatives of how our society moves forward are largely being determined by a faceless team of unelected bureaucrats.
Is this what we desire in “The land of the free and the brave”? Such questions may well be answered in the upcoming Presidential election.
