Eber: Demo policies of destruction

Democrat hate Israel—while other Democrats Hate Hamas.  Now we find Democrats that are concerned about the borders, like the Mayor or New York, and Democrats like Schiff and Porter who do not think we are doing enough to bring more illegal aliens into our nation.  All Democrats love spending your money, knowing that the deficit causes inflation.  They are united in the inflation, crime, illegal aliens, a bad hair day is caused by climate change—all caused by “MAGA” Republicans.  The best example of the hate and incompetence of the Democrats in the former Mayor of South Bend, who could not even fill potholes in his town.

“Over the Thanksgiving weekend he predictively blamed severe weather for delays encountered during the most traveled time of the year on climate change. Rather than stating the obvious that Mother Nature is very unpredictable in late November, Buttigieg preferred to criticize Mega Republicans for blocking the Biden Administrations Green Energy initiatives.

In this man’s Blue reality, there is not a thing called force majeure, (an act of God or nature) Everything that goes array is somehow the GOP’s fault.”

You have the Homeland Security Secretary lying to Congress about our borders.  The Treasury Secretary sees no problem with inflation or massive deficits—the Defense Secretary is worried about providing abortions and making sure the proper pronouns are used, while we have a massive personnel and equipment shortage.

Mayor Pete is just bad—the rest are dangerous.

Demo policies of destruction by Richard Eber

Richard Eber, Exclusive to the California Political News and Views, 11/29/23   www.capoliticalnewsandviews.com

History has shown Secretary of Transportation (DOT) Pete Buttigieg to be a loyal Democratic Party soldier. No matter what happens, he conveniently blames extremist Republicans for whatever ails his sphere of influence.

The diminutive Presidential candidate from 2020 was also the former Mayor of South Bend Indiana. No doubt he would prefer to see Donald Trump’s picture on  post office walls, rather running against President Biden next year.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend he predictively blamed severe weather for delays encountered during the most traveled time of the year on climate change. Rather than stating the obvious that Mother Nature is very unpredictable in late November, Buttigieg preferred to criticize Mega Republicans for blocking the Biden Administrations Green Energy initiatives.

In this man’s Blue reality, there is not a thing called force majeure, (an act of God or nature) Everything that goes array is somehow the GOP’s fault.

In his next breath the DOT chief complained that his budget is less than preferred. He linked Republican efforts limiting government spending to delays experienced by travelers. To spur reform, Buttigieg has floated a proposal that would make airlines, regardless of fault, be financially liable for canceled flights.

Of course he has not considered what impact might be felt in the price of airline tickets.  One would surmise from his socialist perspective, reducing corporate profits would make up any shortfalls financing this scheme.

Buttigieg has never said his agency needs to work more efficiently and use technological innovation to reduce passenger congestion.

With Buttigieg and his Democratic colleagues, throwing money at problems, is always their solution.  In such diverse sectors as Defense, homeland security, housing, infrastructure projects and entitlements, incompetency is never mentioned.  This philosophy has been extended to their Progressive allies in government and labor unions.

The end result is waste and mismanagement contributing to a lower quality of life for all.

In lockstep with Democratic economic models, is the recently negotiated auto worker’s contracts.  They appeared to be a victory for organized labor.  It will likely be a hollow one if car manufacturers are forced to close plants. Never figuring into this equation is whether consumers can afford to pay more for new vehicles.

Beyond the borders of Detroit, a contrasting philosophy of labor-management relations exists. Non-union workers at Toyota, Honda, and Nissan, Volkswagen, and several other foreign companies hold a different perspective.  In these firms. labor and management do not consider themselves to be advisories. They work together for the common good.

This contrasts to the “Big 3” going back to the leadership of Walter Reuther almost 70 years ago.  In the old days, labor and management were considered to be bourgeoisie capitalists versus the proletariat.  Such thinking might account for the UAW’s membership currently being 400,000 from a high of 1.5 million workers in the 1950’s

President Biden walking the United Auto Workers picket line is a prime example of Democratic bias against private enterprise.  In his mind inflation and the welfare of individual business’s doesn’t matter.  Being an ally of organized labor at election time is the most important thing to him.

If lope sided contracts lead to insolvency, so be it. This compares to a medical procedure where the operation was a success but the patient died.

Such an outcome does not occur when government unions are involved.  Public employee’s from the Federal, State, to local governmental agencies, have become a privileged class.

The Federal and many State governments aggressively negotiate lucrative labor agreements with immunity. The right to strike is seldom taken away nor are sweetheart employee contracts ever modified. Taxpayers make up any shortfalls.

In many cases they compare to membership in the communist party of the old Soviet Union. Loyalty was exchanged for job security and access to consumer products unavailable to the masses.

To re-enforce their lofty position, a civil service system exists where it is almost impossible to weed out underperforming employees.  This works for the benefit of government workers including law enforcement, teachers, and assorted bureaucrats.

In most cases virtual lifetime tenure is assured..

Making changes in this system Donald Trump equated with “draining the swamp”, is virtually impossible.   Unions form the largest Political Action Committee (PAC) groups in the nation.

This is especially true in California where the Democratic Parties stranglehold on politics is largely controlled by the Service Employees International Union and the California Teachers Association (CTA)  Together they have more than a million members. They solidify their position by donating time and money to electing Progressives.

The results of Democratic government in California are evident.  Gavin Newsom symbolizes failed socialistic policies in action.

It is not surprising that in 2024, Democratic Party strategists will adapt Pete Buttigieg’s approach to defeating Republicans.  Rather than talking about bread and butter topics that effects American families, the Donkeys will concentrate on utilizing social issues to woe the masses.

Promoting a pro choice abortion platform, new voter rights, combatting alleged racism, hatred for capitalism and Donald Trump will likely be their calling cards.

At this juncture, it is uncertain if such an approach will prove successful.  With concern about inflation, border security, a deteriorating education system, questionable foreign policy, and a lowered standard of living, many Democrats are worried their traditional formula for victory may not lead to the usual Blue triumph.

This is why Democratic strategists including James Carvell and David Axelrod have gone on the record imploring Joe Biden to retire. Such sentiment has led to  Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, and Peter Buttigieg being the mostly prominent Democrats that might be expected  to replace him.

The longer the process takes place for Biden to step down, the more difficult it will become for other Democratic candidates to be viable candidates.  Such a predicament might explain why Senator Joe Manchin D-West Virgina’s plans to possibly run are being taken so seriously.

At the same time Republican’s must determine if it is to be Donald Trump or someone else to carry the GOP mantle in 2024.

This has resulted in the next Presidential election likely to be like no other one experienced in American history.
