Eventbrite:  Hates Real Women/No Problem Promoting Hamas

If you STILL use EverBrite for invitations or announcements, you need to know this:

“After a University of California, Davis event Save Women’s Sports spokeswoman Riley Gaines was scheduled to speak at in November was pulled from Eventbrite’s website on grounds it violated their woke community guidelines and terms of service, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) is speaking out – and taking action.

Before we get to that, let’s first take a look at the message Eventbrite sent informing the Davis College Republicans as to why the November 3rd event was removed from their site:

“We have determined that your event is not permitted on the Eventbrite marketplace as it violates our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, with which all users agree to comply. Specifically, we do not allow content or events that – through on- or off-platform activity – discriminate against, harass, disparage, threaten, incite violence against, or otherwise target individuals or groups based on their actual or perceived race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, veteran status, age, or disability. As a result, your event has been unpublished.”

But they had NO problem promoting an event supporting HAMAS.  Guv Youngkin, the Commonwealth of Virginia and his campaign folks are no longing using this American based supporter of Hamas and terrorists.  Are you?

Glenn Youngkin Responds Accordingly to Eventbrite’s Riley Gaines Discrimination as Co-Founder Melts Down

After a University of California, Davis event Save Women’s Sports spokeswoman Riley Gaines was scheduled to speak at in November was pulled from Eventbrite’s website on grounds it violated their woke community guidelines and terms of service, Virginia Gov.

As a result, your event has been unpublished.”

In the aftermath of Gaines’ call to give Eventbrite the “Bud Light treatment,” Youngkin has directed his team to pull all Youngkin events from the website on grounds that it was insane that they would toss a Riley Gaines gathering from their platform but keep up the ones that promoted support for Hamas in the aftermath the start of their terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians:

Though Eventbrite, which is run by CEO Julia Hartz, tried to deny there were any such pro-Hamas entries on their site when confronted, Outkick dropped the receipts on them:

Today, Eventbrite users can sign up to attend an event on Nov. 1 called “”Stop the Genocide! Free Palestine!” at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City.

[…]

The site has also permitted the QMUL School of Law to advertise a similar rally next month called “Carnage in Palestine: Oppression, Complicity, and Ethical Responsibility.”

Both events have since been listed as “unavailable” on the website. Meanwhile, Eventbrite’s co-founder, Kevin Hartz, is in the middle of a meltdown, as indicated by how he’s responding to critics on the Twitter machine:

“I am the Co-Founder and Chairman of Eventbrite and to accuse Eventbrite of being Pro-Hamas is egregious and moronic.  How could you make an unsubstantiated slander that I support these genocidal maniacs?    Please go f*ck yourself! (The last comment represents the individual views of Kevin and not that of Eventbrite, etc, etc).”

In another tweet to a critic, Hartz wrote “That’s what you said last night when you found me with your Mom.”

As for Youngkin, he expanded on his position on Eventbrite in an interview on the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton show, where he confirmed he personally directed both his political committee and office staff to take the events off their site. He also urged listeners to “fire” Eventbrite by not responding to nor RSVPing to any Eventbrite event in order to send a message:

Fortunately, the Gaines event in question is still on, and the Davis College Republicans have a link for people to sign up. If you’re interested in attending, click here or scan the QR code here.
