Do not be fooled. The L.A. Times will just get another bunch of mentally ill editorialists—and keep the “journalists” that hide the truth, misrepresent the facts—yet claim to be non-biased.
“As the parties argue the case, it centers on whether the Agencies complied with regulations of the Council on Environmental Quality, an entity within the Executive Office of the President. We will not address these arguments. The CEQ regulations, which purport to govern how all federal agencies must comply with the National Environmental Policy Act, are ultra vires.
Ul,tra vires means the CEQ was acting “beyond the legal scope of its authority.”
The court goes on to detail the shenanigans by which an advisory body with no regulatory authority was able to write environmental regulations for the entire United States for nearly a half-century just because it decided it could.
Making the case even more awesome is that it was set off by enviro-wackos suing the FAA for allowing sightseeing flights near some national parks. The enviros claimed the FAA used the wrong standard established by the CEQ to permit the flight. They ended up being right in a backhanded kind of way.
If he was serious, he would hire conservatives for the editorial board and as journalists. Until he does this, his words are just a scam to get you to buy the L.A. version of Pravda.
“Fair & Balanced”: Trump 2.0 Era Brings New Los Angeles Times Editorial Board, Owner Promises With Fox News Motto Echo

It’s starting to sound very Roger Ailes over at the Los Angeles Times.
Weeks after the paper’s owner Patrick Soon-Shiong scuttled a planned and penned endorsement of Kamala Harris for president, the billionaire Abraxane creator is now putting a whole new editorial board in place.
Pulling out Fox News’ old “Fair and Balanced” motto, Dr. Soon-Shiong took to social media over the weekend to praise a reader’s letter slamming LAT columnist LZ Granderson over reasons for Donald Trump’s election win and then dropped the news of the new editorial board “coming soon.”
He also noted in Sunday’s posting: “I will work towards making our paper and media fair and balanced so that all voices are heard and we can respectfully exchange every American’s view … from left to right to the center. Coming soon. A new Editorial Board. Trust in media is critical for a strong democracy.”
