Federal Court Hears Contempt Accusations After San Diego School District Refuses to Reinstate Teachers

The Escondido School district is like Hunter Biden—it refuses obey authority.  A court ordered them to reinstate two teachers—they continue to refuse.  The crime of the teachers?  The district wanted them to lie to parents about their children.  Isn’t this child abuse by the District?

“Thomas More Society attorneys will be in federal court January 10, 2024, seeking contempt of court sanctions against a San Diego-area school district. Administrators at Escondido Union School District (EUSD) have refused to reinstate teachers Elizabeth Mirabelli and Lori Ann West, who filed a lawsuit opposing a dangerous school district policy that forced them to lie to parents about their children’s gender dysphoria. The district has kept the teachers on administrative leave, rather than honor the court order restraining EUSD from taking any adverse employment actions against Mirabelli and West.”

Government is corrupt.  Are you still sending your children to schools that hate them—and despise you?

Federal Court Hears Contempt Accusations After San Diego School District Refuses to Reinstate Teachers

Thomas More Society Attorneys in Court January 10 on Behalf of Middle School Teachers Forced to Lie to Parents

Tom Ciesielka, Thomas More society,  1/9/24,   thomasmoresociety.org

(January 9, 2024 – San Diego, California) Thomas More Society attorneys will be in federal court January 10, 2024, seeking contempt of court sanctions against a San Diego-area school district. Administrators at Escondido Union School District (EUSD) have refused to reinstate teachers Elizabeth Mirabelli and Lori Ann West, who filed a lawsuit opposing a dangerous school district policy that forced them to lie to parents about their children’s gender dysphoria. The district has kept the teachers on administrative leave, rather than honor the court order restraining EUSD from taking any adverse employment actions against Mirabelli and West.

In September 2023, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California ruled that the school district’s policy compelling staff to deceive parents about their children’s gender identity preferences could not be enforced while the case is under consideration. The court also ruled that Mirabelli and West must be allowed to return to their classrooms. The district has refused to abide by the court’s ruling and allow the teachers to safely return to work. Mirabelli and West are suing administrators at EUSD and the California Department of Education.

Along with civil contempt sanctions against the school district, Thomas More Society attorneys are requesting that the court order EUSD to pay attorneys’ fees incurred in attempting to compel it to comply with the court’s ruling and issue a clarifying order requiring the school district to bring Mirabelli and West safely back to work.
