HEARD ON THE TOM/TOMS

Heard on the Tom/Toms

RANDOM THOUGHTS FOR TUESDAY

  1.  The NO KINGS protest on Saturday worked!!!  It is now Tuesday and we do not have a King, just a President following the law.
  2. On Friday night, the LAGOP Chair attended the OCGOP Flag Day Gala.  On Saturday night the LAGOP Chair attended the San Diego GOP.  She has been attending events throughout Southern California and San Fran.  In April the Ventura County GOP, in office since only December, held a gala with over 200 in attendance, got out of debt from the previous Administration and over $30,000 to start promoting the GOP and its candidates.

Yet, the LAGOP Chair has been in office since January:  no meetings.  No budget.  No political plan.  The LA County Fair has approximately 750,000 visitors—yet the LAGOP did not have a booth at the Fair.  The Placer County GOP has a trainer it takes to Fairs, local events and programs.

As best anybody can tell, there are no planned fund raising events for the LAGOP—at least the membership has not been told if there are.  On Saturday the LAGOP sponsored a forum, with about 200 in attendance to hear Assemblyman Carl DeMaio and Scott Pressler train people to get signatures for the VOTER ID ballot measure.  The LAGOP has NOT endorsed this, nor can they—no meetings, no endorsement.

To win statewide, we need an  active, aggressive, LAGOP.

  • San Diego has a massive deficit.  One way to finance it is to create new parking tickets.  Park in San Diego at your own risk—the government needs the money and willing to stick you with the bill for their mismanagement and incompetence.  Just because you are allowed to steal does not mean you should.

San Diego issues thousands of tickets for parking too close to crosswalks — and brings in huge cash — Critics say the city, which raised fines for the new violation from $77.50 to $117 two days after enforcement began March 1, is trying to balance its budget on the backs of unsuspecting drivers unaware of the new law. • The hate America, oppose the Rule of Law, supporters of criminals from foreign nations have already planned the NEXT national America Go to Hell Day—June 28:

“The next event is going to be a big one. It will be similar to hands across America.

Called stand up America.

The event is scheduled for June 28th at 11 am PST 3 pm.EST and right now is scheduled to go along route 50. ( map in comments) but there are people who cant get there and asking for a north route (the 90) and a more southern route. (route 66 or the 10 or a combo?)”  From Facebook.

(Periodically the California Political News and Views will publish tidbits of political news, to keep you in the loop of what the pooh bahs know.  The phrase “tom/tom’s” comes from my mentor, Lorelei Kinder who never passed a rumor, just called to tell me what she heard on the “TomTom’s”.  This column is named in her honor.)

  1. Typical California do nothing Republicans. Pay for my trips, dinners, all other expenses and give me a pay Check (monthly allowance). The RINOs win out again.
