As you know over the past couple of weeks the California Political News and Views has completely revitalized our web site.  It is fresher, easier to navigate and more visually appealing.  The new website url is www.capoliticalnewsandviews.com

It is the premier conservative newsletter in the State.  It is read by elected officials from San Diego to the Oregon border, the media, grassroots leaders, most of the member of the Republican Party in California.  Leaders and members of volunteer organizations

We will be also able to take advertising for the newsletter.  If you are running for office and want immediate attention by conservatives, the California Political News and Views is the place to have your digital ad.  We will take only ONE candidate per race and only ONE side on ballot measures.  Want to let people know you are circulating a ballot measure—this is the place.

STEVE GARVEY IS A REPUBLICAN IN NAME ONLY?  Todays Version of Schwarzenegger?

  1. In 2005, Arnold Schwarzenegger attended a fund raiser for GOP Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.  That was the only time the Democrat, registered as a Republican raised money for a GOP candidate.  But, he used that as an example of being an “active Republican.

Last June Steve Garvey gave a five-minute speech at a GOP event in OC—the speech was written by someone else.  He also attended a fund raiser for Congresswoman Michelle Steel.  In his 74 years that appears to be the ONLY GOP candidate fund raiser he attended.  We know how bad Arnold was for the GOP and California.

A couple of days ago, the Garvey consultants sent out a fund raiser.  He is way they say you should support him,

“Schiff and Porter own the mess that Californians are experiencing every day— skyrocketing homelessness, crime on the rise, and an affordability crisis that makes California unbearable to all but the wealthiest residents.

Steve is giving Californians a new choice, a better choice, for the future of our state.”

But nowhere in the blast email does it say WHAT he would do.  Worse, he REFUSES to speak to GOP groups.  In fact, when invited Steve Garvey IGNORES the request.

The California Republican Assembly held an endorsement convention—Garvey ignored the invitation.  The San Francisco GOP held an endorsement meeting—and Garvey ignored the request.

Is he really a GOP candidate—or is he in the race to assure that NO Republican is on the November ballot for Senate.  Does Steve Garvey know he is a candidate?  Anybody see him?  If so, please let me know.  Also, if your group has invited him and ignored the invitation, PLEASE let me know.

It is looking more and more each day he is the 2024 version of Arnold Schwarzenegger.   The Garvey handlers were part of the 2006 Schwarzenegger campaign.  Something smelly here.

2. Philadelphia has turned out to be a criminal enterprise.  Now the founding cradle of our nation has become a HQ for the Nazi/Hamas hate Jews movement:

Boycotting the Jews Reaches the West Bank of the Delaware

On Oct. 30, the Philly Palestine Coalition posted on Instagram urging its 15,000 followers to boycott Philadelphia restaurants that are “owned by Zionists,” serve Israeli food, raise money for Israel, or are owned by Philadelphia-based Starr Restaurants.

What do Philadelphia officials have to say about this anti-Semitic campaign? Very little.

Would city officials respond so equivocally to a boycott of black- or Muslim-owned businesses? The question answers itself.

  •  This is from Ron Stein.  It is a reminder why California is collapsing—and folks with a brain and able to leave, are fleeing California—they can see the disaster we are facing.

“Here’s some subject matter that Governor Newsom will NOT discuss!

Historically, California has successfully reduced in-state oil production over the decades as it has increased crude oil imports from foreign countries from 5 percent in 1992 to more than 60 percent today of total California consumption demand.

With continuous reductions of in-state oil production imminent, further increases in imports from foreign countries are inevitable to meet the demands of the 4th largest economy in the world.

California has more than 140 airports with huge fuel demands of more than 13 billion gallons of aviation fuel per year that includes these major airports:

  • 9 International airports
  • 41 Miliary airports

In addition, ships arriving and departing from the shipping ports up and down the coast from San Diego to San Francisco require massive amount of lower grade bunker fuels.

California Governor Newsom continues his mission to further reduce crude oil exploration in California but has yet to inform the citizens of the State, and the citizens of America, as to how he expects the airports, military, and shipping ports to continue operating without the fuels for planes and ships.”

(Periodically the California Political News and Views will publish tidbits of political news, to keep you in the loop of what the pooh bahs know.  The phrase “tom/tom’s” comes from my mentor, Lorelei Kinder who never passed a rumor, just called to tell me what she heard on the “TomTom’s”.  This column is named in her honor.)
