Need to Follow By-Laws to Make Legal Endorsements

  1.  How dysfunctional is the LAGOP?  No voter registration program, no effort to make sure there is a GOP candidate in every legislative district, no financial reports and lots of secret sessions.

Last Saturday, it was noticed, that the LAGOP was going to hold as part of its regularly scheduled meeting, an endorsement in the 28th Congressional District.  This covers the 41, 43, 48 and 49th AD.  All have to have an endorsement meeting for the LAGOP to entertain a possible countywide endorsement.

LA GOP By Laws require that 2/3 of the ADs provide their endorsement.  Since there are four ADs within the 28th CD, that would require that 3 of the 4 ADs within the 28th CD must provide an endorsement.  None of the ADs in question, The 41, 43, 48 and 49 AD, have invited either candidate to present a request or have appeared before the ADs in question requesting the endorsement of any of the ADs in question.

Since only 2 of the 4 AD Central Committees have provided an endorsement and the 49th AD conducted an illegal Endorsement, motions were made via phone without a meeting, the Endorsement recommendation to the LA GOP should not have been forwarded nor accepted by the LA GOP for a possible endorsement.

Oh, the 41st Ad goes into San Bernardino County, so the SB Central Committee would also have to endorse, before any of this goes to the California Republican Party Board of Directors for their endorsement.

Chairman Tim O’Reilly wrote the by-laws.  As Chair he had to make sure all the AD’s had done legal endorsements.  He knew better.  O’Reilly knew that if he had a quorum and they endorsed a candidate, the CRP Board would not allow even a discussion, it would make him look bad.

Do not understand why Chair O’Reilly is trying to overlook the rules and by-laws.  Tim, could you please explain?

Don’t be Scammed by “Applying for GOP National Convention Delegate Status.

  •  I have received numerous requests to be “eligible to be a delagte to the 2024 GOP National convention.  Some are from legitimate organizations using this scam to get names and email addresses to raise money,  Others aer individuals that think you will apply and they get your data.

Here are the facts.  ONLY the Presidential candidates submit the names of the delegates they want to represent them—NO organization, individual or Internet site does this—ONLY the candidates.  To be a delegate you need to be a supporter of the candidate.

When these organizations scam you with requests to suppoy your data, they do not say you are supporting Trump, DeSantis, Haley or Christie.  Do you think Trump wants to appoint a delagte that supports Christie?

Unless the request comes from the official campaign of a candidate, it has little meaning.  Thought you should be aware.

  •  Adam Schiff is a liar and cheat.  He lied about Trump and Russia—and he lied to the County assessor in Maryland—and lied to the County Assessor in Los Angeles County.  He claimed to both his primary residence of in that County.  In Maryland he owns a $1.7 million mansion.  In Burbank he owns a 600 sq. ft. condo.  Where do you think his primary residence is?  Oh, he may have also lied to the Registrar of Voters in L.A. County, since he told the folks in Maryland That was his primary home.  The guy is a scam artist.

Here is a great short story from Gov. Huckabee on this, based on the investigation of Sacramento area GOP congressional candidate Chris Bish.  https://youtu.be/U4wQVdg16aQ?si=la3im_xI-QbBCx0E

  •  Over the years I have written extensively about the CRP and the LAGOP, exposed how they operate.  Happy to report that as of today NOT a single request to correct any statement I made.  Happy to make corrections, all they have to do is ask for them and explain where I was wrong.
