Tim O’Reilly Abuses LAGOP—Recommends DEMOCRATS/NPP for District Attorney in the Name of the LAGOP
After months of putting new made up rules—no one voted for—gridlock to create meetings when he knew a quorum would not be present—and his closest allies supporting an NPP candidate for DA would win by stopping the LAGOP from endorsing the only Republican in the race, Judge David Milton.
But a few days ago, Tim O’Reilly, Chair of the LAGOP, published the OFFICAL LAGOP voter guide. In this guide he included all the candidates in LA County endorsed, by vote, of the membership.
But, he went on and did this:
“LA County District Attorney (no endorsed candidate) Anyone Except Gascon Recommends:
Jonathan Hatami – Nathan Hochman – John McKinney – *David Milton”
Note that at NO time was a motion or discussion made to recommend Democrat Hatami, Democrat McKinney, NPP Hochman—or GOP’er Milton by the members of the LAGOP.
Until this was published, only a few of the closest people to O’Reilly, knew that he was going to use the LAGOP to promote the campaign of Democrats and NPP candidate for DA.
Remember, O’Reilly was the chair and promoter of the CRP Platform committee that wanted to endorse a Democrat Lite Platform—one that would embarrass GOP candidates, incumbents and nominees.
Now he is used his position to stop the LAGOP from endorsing a Republican—and then without a motion, discussion or vote of the members of the LAGOP—HE recommends, using the name of the LAGOP to recommend Democrats and NPP candidates.
Will the LAGOP take any action against O’Reilly? If allowed now, what stops him from doing this again?
