INTERESTING ODDS AND ENDS FOR THE WEEKEND

A friend of mine is graduating from Stanford next month.  Over the weekend he was asked if he still had any finals to take.  His answer shocked us.

“Yes, I have one course to take a test, my ‘Gender Economics’ class”.  Milton Friedman would be rolling over in his grave if he knew that some WOKE person now believes that is a difference in economics based on gender.  Obviously Stanford has ended its world class status and determined to be an anti-education facility.  Would you hire someone who believes that economics is based on gender?

My friend Lou Barnett noted this: “Remember that tax increases to reduce the deficits need to be approximately 165% of the deficit because 40% of taxes go to schools.

So his $18 billion dollar tax increase will only produce about 12.4 billion toward the deficit, unless the increase is needed to backfill schools.
