Heard on the Tom/Toms

Corrine Rankin/Democrats vs. President Trump/Republicans

Let me make this simple:

Corrin Rankin supports DEI.  President Trump, the National Platform and the State Platform (see below) support racial equality.  Here is her refusal to answer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D77tqWbZIhc

Corrin Rankin supports affirmative action.  President Trump, the National Platform and the State Platform (see below) racial equality

Corrin Rankin aggressively opposes paper ballots.  President Trump is fighting for honest elections via paper ballots.  President Trump said that unless you use paper ballots, you do not have an honest election.”  Here is Corrin Rankin, in her own words in opposition to paper ballots.  https://youtu.be/4IwXIVrhD7E?si=z-dTowdWRZmQGr18

So, how can Corrin Rankin be a spokesperson for Republicans when she opposes the President and our Platforms?  Is she looking to be the next Michael Steel?

You might want to know her views on abortion.  In her own words: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm264jTYnlQ

The recently passed California Republican Party Platform contains this section:

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

The Republican Party is the historic party of equal opportunity. The Republican Party abolished slavery and has always stood for the right of all persons to succeed. During Reconstruction and throughout the shame of the Democratic Party’s Jim Crow laws, the Republican Party championed racial equality against strong opposition. We also stood for women’s rights, including the right to vote, and continue to support gender equality. We support laws prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or religion. We believe that all individuals should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin and understand that one cannot guarantee equality of results, only equality of opportunity.

(Periodically the California Political News and Views will publish tidbits of political news, to keep you in the loop of what the pooh bahs know.  The phrase “tom/tom’s” comes from my mentor, Lorelei Kinder who never passed a rumor, just called to tell me what she heard on the “TomTom’s”.  This column is named in her honor.)
