If you do not own an EV, Southern California Edison is going to have you pay for your neighbor to buy one. Then you will be forced to pay up to $4500 to put a regarding station in your neighbor’s home. All of this as Edison says it does not guarantee electricity to be available all summer due to lack of electricity.
This is called socialism—and since Edison is a monopoly, we have no choice but to pay for environmentally unfriendly, dangerous EV’s, as our rates go up to finance this boondoggle.
Note the rich get $1,000, though they can afford it. And the middle class and poor get $4,000 even though with that incentive they still can not afford to buy an EV.
