If Hunter Biden did not pay his Federal income tax, did he pay his California income tax? Of course not. Then why hasn’t the State of California indicted him for tax evasion?

We know why Newsom is protecting Hunter—he wants the Biden’s endorsement for President, and this is leverage.

Hunter Bided failed to pay federal income taxes on millions in income and some of that income was earned while Biden was living in California, so he likely failed to pay state taxes as well.

Newsom’s hand-picked Attorney General, Rob Bonta, has pledged to prosecute tax cheats. In a statement issued last year on a two-year prison sentence for an individual who filed to pay taxes on income approaching $1 million, Bonta said “This sentence exemplifies my office’s commitment to upholding California’s laws, and to holding individuals accountable for knowingly defrauding our taxpayers.”
In spite of Bonta’s stated commitment, Hunter has thus far escaped any prosecution in California and neither Bonta nor Newsom has pledged to do anything about it. California is especially in need of revenue since the state’s budget is about $30 billion in the red.
Of course, Newsom would face political backlash if he did push for a prosecution, but we can certainly expose his and his AG’s hypocrisy if failing to do so. Also, if Hunter were convicted in a State Court, the President could not pardon him. He could serve jail time.

We don’t know if Hunter did or did not file his California tax returns if he was legally required to do so. Facts speak much louder than assumptions. When you assume, you make an ass out of you and me (ass-u-me)
Wouldn’t it be appropriate for the Franchise Tax Board to make a statement one way or another about the filing status of one Hunter Biden? Given how he has handled his life and finances, it is not farfetched to project he cares little about paying California income taxes due. But if our supposedly impartial public officials are doing their jobs, why aren’t they clearing the air on this high-income California resident with a very sketchy tax payment history?
You’ve got to be kidding…..You think the FTB employees are correctly trained and dependable enough to know if Hunter Biden filed his taxes and IF THEY ARE CORRECT? I guess you haven’t dealt with them in the last few years! I have – TWO years now and they “LOST” withholding checks from two different title companies paid to the state (1st year residential, 2nd year commercial) and I’ve spent time, lawyer fees and stress until they “find they made a mistake”, and of course there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY, APOLOGIES, or compensation for my time and uncalled for lawyer charges! I’m so disgusted I do think about leaving this state where my ancestors came as settlers when it was still territory. Fortunately, everything that’s now happening has awakened the activism within my soul to join others in the fight against the liberal indoctrinated ideology that has infiltrated my state, and the crime, filth, drugs, illegals, and one-sided political power will hopefully be addressed and changed 2024.
