Terrorists Close Down Bay Bridge Going Into San Fran at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday

What do you call people who block a major freeway/bridge at 8:00 am on a weekday?  I call them terrorists.  Some even threw their car keys into the Bay, so traffic could not proceed.

“All westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge heading into San Francisco from Oakland were closed for several hours Thursday morning as protesters called for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The lanes were reopened around 11:56 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP Commander Ezery Beauchamp told reporters Thursday morning that some organizers abandoned their vehicles and tossed their keys into the Bay, leaving several cars to be towed out of the way of traffic. Photos from the scene showed protestors holding banners reading “stop the genocide” and “no U.S. military aid to Israel” as several world leaders, including President Joe Biden, converged on the Bay Area for the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit

Why hasn’t the DOJ arrested these people on Federal terrorist charges.  If we were attacked and they did this, you would see these folks thrown over the railing or worse.  Why do we allow terrorists to close down our streets, freeways and bridges?  Why hasn’t Newsom demanded Federal charges?  Why has his been silent?  Oh, he has been escorting the Chinese dictator around San Fran, hoping he could get the same financial deal with the Communists that the Biden Crime Family has.

Westbound lanes of Bay Bridge remain closed as protesters call for Gaza ceasefire; about 50 arrests made

The lanes going toward San Francisco were shut down around 8 a.m.

SAN FRANCISCO — All westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge heading into San Francisco from Oakland were closed for several hours Thursday morning as protesters called for a ceasefire in Gaza.

“That’s a calculated movement of working together that they did,” he said. “Working together, this group stopped traffic in layers.”

The protesters were stationed on the lanes before Treasure Island. According to the CHP, about 50 protesters were arrested and 15 vehicles were towed as officers worked to reopen the bridge for traffic as of 10 a.m.

While Beauchamp said the protestors didn’t engage in combative behavior with law enforcement officers, he stopped short of calling the protest “peaceful.”

“I don’t necessarily call it a peaceful protest when you stop tens of thousands of people from being able to get to the hospital, being able to get to school and being able to get to work,” he said.

The demonstration Thursday morning comes amid a tension-filled week as numerous world leaders, including President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and Chinese President Xi Jinping, filed into San Francisco for the APEC. Protests have erupted throughout the week in support of a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as LGBT rights, women’s empowerment, Indigenous people’s rights and the environment.

  1. Remedyatlaw.us has an answer. It is called the Power of Paper. If 300 Paper Warriors used the affidavit process coupled with small claims courts functioning under common law jurisdiction it could turn one county around overnight. Steve, why not check it out. [email protected]

  2. I will check it out. Some folks tried this a couple of years ago. To date, no one has responded–when presented with the paperwork, the elected officials literally throw it in the garbage can.
