Windows smashed at businesses across San Fernando Valley

You will find crime everywhere in Los Angeles.  We have had massive smash and grabs, flash mobs and vandalism.  This is just one example of why L.A. is unsafe. 

“Los Angeles police are investigating after windows at several businesses in the San Fernando Valley were smashed early Monday morning.

Among the businesses to fall victim to the spree include an LA Fitness on the 6100 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard in North Hollywood, a moving supply store on the 7200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Van Nuys and a health food store in Sherman Oaks, also located on Van Nuys Boulevard.

Park your car, get a taco and comeback and your car is vandalized.  That is Los Angeles in 2023.

Windows smashed at businesses across San Fernando Valley

Los Angeles police are investigating after windows at several businesses in the San Fernando Valley were smashed early Monday morning.

Among the businesses to fall victim to the spree include an LA Fitness on the 6100 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard in North Hollywood, a moving supply store on the 7200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Van Nuys and a health food store in Sherman Oaks, also located on Van Nuys Boulevard.

Video from the scene showed shattered glass scattered around the businesses.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that a burglary happened around 2:45 a.m. at the health food store, Health Nut, in Sherman Oaks.

Suspects smashed the windows of that business and stole several items, although an exact accounting of what was stolen was not released. According to an independent journalist on the scene, police also said items were stolen from the other businesses.

A suspect description has not been released by police.

  1. I don’t see why anyone would operate a business today unless it was non- brick and mortar. Look forward to a windowless building with an order person behind bullet-resistant glass. Nothing on display except a computer on a counter. Money first, then the merchandise. Traditional retail is dead.

  2. Hard to believe that supporting criminal behavior is a good political move. Anywhere.
    Far left democrats have become oblivious to the difference between good from evil.
    How can any rational person not see the slippery slope they have created.
    What would our society be like with no common sense?
