Hitler wanted to kill all the Jews. Hamas wants to kill all the Jews. The modern day Hitler Youth on college campuses do not support Hitler—they support Hamas. Not much of a difference. College campuses from Yale to Cal Poly SLO have been infested with hate crimes, calls for killing Jews and ending the State of Israel. No free speech—at Columbia those calling for the killing of Jews closed down the college—while a Jewish professor is banned from the campus “for his own safety”.
Why are we allowing Hitler/Hamas Youth to close our campuses and to control what is taught? Worse, taxpayers are financing the Nazi controlled schools via student loans and Federal grants. We did not do this in 1942, why are we doing it in 2024?

On too many university campuses, the ugly stain of anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic actions exists.
The pro-Palestinian demonstrations at Yale, Columbia, New York University, and other centers of higher education are reminiscent of the Hitler era in Nazi Germany (1933-1945).
America is a land dedicated to religious freedom. In the United States Constitution, freedom of worship is guaranteed.
In 1790, as president, George Washington said, “May the children of the stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land [America], continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants.”
The Jews lived in Biblical Israel until 70 AD (CE), when the Romans conquered the Jewish homeland. Most Jews scattered to North Africa, Europe, and Asia Minor. Jews in these regions were persecuted for centuries.
Finally, on May 14, 1948, modern Israel appeared. From 1948 to the present time, the Jews of Israel had to defend their homeland. In military actions in 1956, 1967, 1973, and at other times, Jews were in danger of losing their democratic homeland. On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas, a Gaza Strip terrorist organization, brutally killed 1200 to 1400 Jews — Israeli and American. Other Jews were taken hostage.
Israel had no choice but, in war-like fashion, to retaliate. Tragically, Jewish and Palestinian lives were lost. But if Israel had failed to respond to terrorism, the outcome would have been more terrorism, threatening not only Israeli Jews but Jews everywhere.
Many of these pro-Palestinian protestors on American campuses are acting like Nazi thugs, threatening America’s dedication to religious liberty. While all Americans are guaranteed freedom of assembly, all protests must be peaceful. When violence breaks out, the nation’s peace officers must act. Lives and property must be protected.
Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. Israel is an ally of the United States.
Some American politicians have criticized the Israeli government. Senate majority leader Charles Schumer (D-New York) said recently that Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has “lost his way.” Schumer should have said nothing, letting the Israelis handle their internal affairs.
Sadly, too many American Democrats have a dislike -– perhaps “hatred” is a better word –- of Israel. Moreover, too many Republicans have been silent on Israel’s travails.
Regarding the 2024 American presidential election, the time has come for President Joe Biden, a Democrat, and Donald Trump, the presumed Republican presidential nominee, to declare unwavering support for Israel.
On April 22, 2024, Jews world-wide began the celebration is Passover, a holiday marking the Jews’ departure from slavery in Egypt.
Now is the time for all democracy-loving people in America and elsewhere to stand with Israel during its time of need.
The supporters of Hammas did not receive an education. They received indoctrination from the schools they went to. The whole school system here and abroad failed them. Read “Personal Opinions of One Common Man” due out soon.
