Nearly 100 Vehicles Broken Into in LA War Zone, Two Juveniles Arrested

Los Angeles is a war zone.  The cops can’t stop it and the DA will not stop it.  Drive your car and park it in L.A. and you have a great chance to be a victim.  At some point insurance companies will no longer cover you if you are silly enough to park your car in L.A.—that is a risk YOU are taking.

“The two suspects, who had their names withheld, reportedly smashed the windows of over 60 parked cars in the Westchester area on Jan. 20, then fled on foot in dark-colored clothing, the LAPD said.

On April 14, an additional 15 vehicles, also in Westchester, had their windows smashed in a similar fashion, according to the department.

This past Sunday, 17 more vehicles, these in the Playa Del Rey area, were broken into, police said.”

WESTCHESTER / PLAYA DEL REY – Two juveniles were arrested after being deemed responsible for multiple vehicle burglaries in the Westchester and Playa Del Rey areas, the Los Angeles Police Department announced today.

The two suspects, who had their names withheld, reportedly smashed the windows of over 60 parked cars in the Westchester area on Jan. 20, then fled on foot in dark-colored clothing, the LAPD said.

On April 14, an additional 15 vehicles, also in Westchester, had their windows smashed in a similar fashion, according to the department.

This past Sunday, 17 more vehicles, these in the Playa Del Rey area, were broken into, police said.

The department’s Pacific Area officers and detectives were able to determine the identity and location of the suspects from obtained video of the crimes.

The suspects, who were detained in the 7500 block of Manchester Avenue at an apartment complex, were arrested and booked for burglary from a motor vehicle before being released to their parents, the LAPD said.

Police say they recovered numerous burglary tools, backpacks, ID cards and credit cards from the home.

An investigation was ongoing and will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office for consideration of felony filing.

  1. These are juveniles. Just misunderstood children. Scold them and tell them not to do it anymore. Then send them home for parental supervision. What these two misunderstood children of God did they did in Westchester. The residents of Westchester are upper income. They can afford the higher insurance rates. These economically deprived children need another chance to grow up and better themselves to become contributing citizens of society.
